Jianxin Wu, R.TCMP, R.Ac, has had over 41 years of professional clinical experience in acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. He received formal and full-time medical education and hospital training in both Chinese and Western medicine for more than 7 years. He had his Medical Doctor Degree from Zhejiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). After a few years of hospital work, he obtained his Master Degree of TCM from Shanghai University of TCM, which has the best reputation in the TCM field. Jianxin Wu was a medical doctor in several hospitals and was engaged as a supervisor of PhD/MD students by the University and its teaching hospital. He worked in the Royal Marsden Hospital at the University of London, UK.
Jianxin Wu has directed North York Acupuncture & Herbs Clinic since 1996. He currently is a member of the CTCMPAO (College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario). He is a member of The Committee of Pan-Canadian Examinations for Acupuncturists & TCM Practitioners. He was a member of several TCM associations in China and Canada. He was invited by The Michener Institute and the Toronto Institute of Chinese Medicine & Acupuncture as a lecture for the advanced clinical courses. His academic papers and books have been published in six countries and cited by hundreds of doctors around the world. Owing to Wu’s super medical skill and his great contribution to the medical and health profession, his name was been honorably recorded in a “Dictionary of Contemporary Eminent Doctors of Chinese and Western Medicine”. During so many years of professional practice, he helped thousands of patients to regain their health.
